i learnt to type on something similar to this at Miss Sprules Secretarial Academy for young gels in Winchester back in the day (late 80s-ish)....i don't think it exists anymore....but at that time there was only 1 computer in the place so we learnt on manual typewriters and made copies on carbon sheets. we also studied Pitman shorthand and general accounts debit/credit management (a lot of good it did me - i still can't balance the books). but it stood me in good stead as i've always a useful skill to fall back on (!!!) and can type super speedy gonzalez without looking at the keys....

this little beauty would have been the envy of all.....isn't it pink and lovely....
